Educator Liaison. Karen has spent the past 15 years teaching and designing inquiry-based curriculum in middle school classrooms. With previous experience working as a research scientist, she is able to bring scientific concepts to life for her students in an approachable way. She was inspired to explore emerging, sustainable energy technologies as a Teacher-in-Residence at the Museum of Science in Boston, MA. and continues to pursue her passion for teaching students about sustainable energy sources as Director of Education at Magical Microbes.
